Sam Wilkinson is a Senior Project Manager with the Office of Research Program Management since 2009.
In his time with ORPM, he has successfully managed projects focused primarily on data collection. The goal of this work has to been two-fold: to create the kind of data repositories useful in the short-term development and testing of software products, and in long-term sociological research aimed at achieving a better understanding of complex issues.
Wilkinson’s managed projects originally focused on biometric research and identification, and have since transitioned into childhood obesity and Hepatitis-C treatment. These projects have been sponsored by the a diverse collection of funding agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Department of Agriculture, and the National Institutes of Health.
